Notes on the work itself: design, writing, code, photography and video, and the habits and decisions that separate good work from work that's merely finished.

Finished and good are not the same thing. A page can load, a logo can exist and a video can post on schedule without any of them doing the job they were made for. The difference is craft: the decisions, habits and small corrections most people never see but everyone notices.

This section is about the work itself. We write about web design and development, copywriting and editing, photography and short-form video, and the process that ties them together, from the first sketch to the last revision. Some articles are technical, some are about judgment, and some are honest accounts of things that didn't work the first time.

You'll also find practical guidance on:
giving and taking useful feedback
building a process that produces consistently good work, not occasionally good work
knowing when something is actually done

We write from the bench. Kosmic Edge designs, builds, writes, shoots and edits for clients every week, and the lessons here come from that work, not from theory.
