Build and maintain
Website Development & Hosting
Modern, secure, fast websites built and maintained by the team that hosts them.
Who it's for
Small businesses, nonprofits and public bodies that want a site that works, stays patched and meets ADA/WCAG, without managing the hosting themselves.
Scope
What this includes
- Custom website design
- E-commerce solutions
- Hosting & maintenance plans
- Web accessibility (ADA/WCAG)
- Security monitoring & backups
- Migration & redirects from your old site
What you get
A website you own, maintained by the people who built it
Most small-business websites fail slowly. The agency that built it moves on, the plugins age, the host is somebody's old account, and the first sign of trouble is a browser warning telling visitors to go away.
We build the site, host it, patch it and answer the phone about it. One number, one invoice, one team that knows what is on the server.
Accessibility is part of the build rather than a phase at the end, because retrofitting it costs more than doing it right the first time. If you have a site already, a free accessibility audit shows where it stands.
This suits you if
- Your site is more than four years old
- Nobody is sure who has the hosting login
- You are adding e-commerce or online booking
- You need it to meet ADA or WCAG
How it works
Build, launch, look after
A website is not a delivery, it is a thing that has to keep working after everybody has moved on to the next project.
-
Scope and structure
We start with what the site has to do — sell, book, inform, comply — and what pages that actually needs. Most rebuilds shed a third of their pages here, and the site is better for it.
-
Design and build
Built to your brand, responsive by default, and tested against a keyboard and a screen reader as it is built rather than after. You see it on a staging URL before anything goes live.
-
Content and migration
We move the content across, redirect the old URLs so search rankings and printed links survive, and check what actually needs to come with you.
-
Launch
DNS, certificates, analytics and search console. We watch it for the first week, when problems surface.
-
Care plan
Updates, backups, uptime monitoring and a fix window. Sites do not stay working on their own.
Beyond the pages
Online stores, booking and the parts around the site
Most sites now have to do something as well as say something. We build online stores on platforms you can run yourself, such as WooCommerce: custom product pages, secure payment gateways, a checkout tuned so fewer carts are abandoned, and layouts built for phones first.
A site is also only as good as what goes into it. We can photograph your products, team and space, settle a consistent brand before design starts, and keep people arriving after launch with local search and ads. One team, so nothing gets lost in a handover.

Set up so you can tell what is working without a course in it.

FAQ
Questions we get asked
Can you work with our existing site?
Often, yes. If the platform can produce accessible, maintainable output we would rather improve what you have than rebuild it — it is usually the cheaper path and it keeps your search history intact.
We will tell you plainly if a rebuild is the better answer, and why.
Do we have to use your hosting?
No. We host because it is the only way to be responsible for uptime and patching, and because one throat to choke is worth something when a site goes down. But the site is yours and it is portable.
How long does it take?
A straightforward brochure site is usually weeks rather than months. E-commerce, migrations and anything with a lot of existing content take longer, and we would rather give you a real date after seeing the content than a short one now.
Will the site meet ADA and WCAG?
Yes. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and test with a keyboard and a screen reader before launch, not only with automated tools. Public bodies facing the Title II deadline should also read our government and municipal page.
Is SEO included?
The groundwork is: page titles and descriptions, a clean heading structure, alt text, a sitemap, fast pages and redirects from your old URLs. Ongoing search work, from content to local listings and ads, is part of digital marketing.
What is in a Managed Care plan?
Hosting, software and plugin updates, backups, security monitoring and support. Plans run from $75 to $500 a month depending on the site, and we recommend one once we have seen it.
